Growing up in a small town in Oregon, Jasper Randall began his musical studies at an early age, later to be accepted into the esteemed Film Scoring program at the University of Southern  California. Following three and a half years of collaboration with composer Christopher Young,  Jasper pursued his own scoring projects full time, including award-winning shorts, feature films  and national commercials.

In 2007, Jasper joined forces with composer and contractor Peter Rotter in what was to later become Encompass Music Partners, the premiere music contracting company in the world.

Since that time, Jasper has established himself among the top vocal contractors and choir conductors in the entertainment industry, having had the honor of working alongside and  conducting for renowned film composers such as James Horner, Harry Gregson-Williams and  Ludwig Göransson.

In addition to his film and television work, Jasper has arranged vocals for artists such as Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, The Weeknd and Tenacious D. He has worked alongside such legendary song producers as Greg Kurstin, Harvey Mason Jr. and Glen Ballard.

In 2019, Jasper and Peter Rotter formed Encompass Creative to provide further service for their clientele, producing songs and music for dozens of film and TV projects across the industry.

As a composer, his original choral pieces and song cycles have been performed by world renowned groups such as the Los Angeles Master Chorale, the Los Angeles Chamber Singers and  The Golden Bridge Choir, with both previous and upcoming works being released by Pavane  Publishing. Jasper’s unique and extensive experience in orchestral film music has permeated all  aspects of his writing and compositional style. Journey, line and passion are all themes of his  musical voice and creations.

From The Education Committee

DSC_0350.jpg
This organization was originally formed by music supervisors joining together to uplift and elevate the craft of music supervision, as well as a resource for each other. I’m looking forward to an event that goes back to those roots, a “meeting of the minds” with peers to educate, strategize and energize.
